Top trends in Q4/23

Businesses in digital commerce weathered a challenging year, ending 2023 with a small decrease in YoY median card spend, reflecting the broader economic slowdown.

Meta and Google Ads still dominated as the top ad platforms, accounting for more than 85% of ad budgets this quarter. But the rapid rise of Amazon Ads and Apple Search Ads should not be ignored.

Adoption of AI tools boomed in all markets. 21% of Juni customers subscribed to the paid version of ChatGPT in Q4/23, rising from zero in Q1/23.
