Before switching to Juni, Rocket Revenue managed their expenses through a traditional bank. This meant managing everything from company cards for their team and marketing campaigns to invoice processing and credit.
“Our old solution with the traditional bank felt very outdated,” says Krister Sund, CFO at Rocket Revenue and continues:
“There were issues with invoices sent out by the bank that were always cut off on the 28th of each month. It was a hassle to include those final payments. I had to log in, retrieve the next invoice in Excel, copy and paste, then follow up with staff about missing receipts and invoices – all to enter everything manually. It was extremely time-consuming. I was probably spending 20 hours a month on admin alone.”
“We also run multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously for different clients, and our cards would sometimes get blocked. We didn’t have many cards and the campaigns often triggered similar charges. It was a headache,” Krister adds.
With Juni, Rocket Revenue has truly streamlined their expense management, allowing Krister to more than halve the time he spends on admin each month. “I set up a Juni card for each client, so I can see exactly how much we’ve spent on them. It works really well, no blocked cards and the campaigns run without interruptions,” says Krister. “Previously, I had to manually go through all the media purchases to identify what had been spent per client. I no longer need to do that, which saves even more time.”
Since Rocket Revenue works with global clients, they also effectively utilise Juni's multi-currency business accounts, handling transactions in USD, SEK, NOK, and EUR.
“The biggest money-saver with Juni is definitely foreign exchange and having business accounts in the currencies we use most.Traditional banks charge you left and right and often give poor rates. For instance, we can lose quite a bit in fees when a German client pays us in euros after we’ve invoiced in SEK. But now, they can pay directly into our euro account with Juni,” says Krister.
