“Skincare products often have high MOQs and long production times. On top of that, we sometimes have to pay for packaging before we even receive the delivery,” says Josefin Landgård, CEO and co-founder of MANTLE.

“Typically, 30% of an order needs to be paid in advance, and production can take 6-7 months. This means stock turnover can take 6-12 months, which was a strain on our cash flow.”
