Rapid growth required the right financial solution

Lovable had a rocket start when the company went from a hobby project to being classified as one of the world's fastest-growing companies. But when the Swedish company was founded in the winter of 2024, it became clear that there were no local financial tools to manage the financial side of things.

“Initially, we had an American business and used our American bank. When we set up the Swedish company and took on more local staff, we needed Swedish financial solutions. We didn't have any Swedish cards and no really good way to make purchases, so we needed a solution quickly as the growth kept going. There was also a lot of administration with personnel costs, for example, for travel, food, and the like. Only one person handled all our admin which meant it took up a lot of time," Olivia Jacobsson says.

Following recommendations from Trimero, Juni became the key for Lovable

When Lovable started looking around for a smooth solution, Juni was recommended to them by their accounting firm.

"We got in touch with Juni through Trimero, our accounting firm, who said, 'you should try this out'. It immediately felt like the right level of both flexibility and control. We also heard that you have very good exchange rates seeing as it's possible to have accounts in different currencies with you," says Olivia.

Since they started using Juni, the company has gained a completely new grip on its expenses. They now have the ability to hold accounts in different currencies and benefit from Juni's exchange rates.

"Juni gives us a clear overview of our company's expenses and makes the management of transactions in different currencies easier. We mainly use SEK, but will soon also use US dollars and euros," says Olivia.

Company cards that simplify expense management

Something else that saves them a lot of time is reduced administration for purchases and personnel costs. Now, all employees have access to their own company cards and can easily make various purchases, such as computers and flight tickets, via Google Pay and Apple Pay.

"When it comes to the cards, we use them for a lot of different purposes. Including business trips, large purchases, but also smaller costs such as meals, snacks, for example. The fact that the mobile app is so user-friendly is also a highly appreciated feature, it makes the receipt management process efficient. It cuts down on a fair bit of admin for us which saves time that we can put to other uses," says Olivia.

When it comes to efficiency and saving time, the integration with Fortnox has also contributed.

"We've set up the integration with Fortnox with you in consultation with our accounting firm Trimero. It saves time both for us at Lovable but also for Trimero who looks after our bookkeeping," Olivia says. 

Lovable can continue its growth journey with Juni

As the Lovable team continues to grow, currently around 30 people, there's scope to use even more of Juni's products.

"We want complete control over our outgoings, who is spending money on what, and to be able to track every transaction per team. That's where Juni has great potential to grow with us. As we expand, we can use Juni to implement tailored rules and spending limits at a team level, as well as set up specific user roles. The Operations team are the admins, and we can grant other types of permissions to team leaders and regular users.That gives us both a good overview and control," says Olivia.

An important aspect has been that Juni works just as well for small teams as for large ones – without becoming too cumbersome.

"It's one of the few tools we introduced early on that has actually continued to work as we've grown. Often you have to change systems, but here we've rather been able to activate more features as our needs increase," says Olivia.
