With a rapidly growing portfolio of clients and campaigns, performance marketing agency Ampilio struggled with time-consuming and inefficient payment and invoicing processes. With Juni, they gained full control, reduced manual work, and a smoother workflow for the entire team.

“We had previously tried various card solutions, such as Amex, Handelsbanken and others, but it quickly became chaotic. We often grouped multiple clients under the same card, which made tracking difficult. In some cases, clients used their own cards, which were then blocked by the bank due to international transactions, pausing campaigns until resolved. It was also difficult to link several ad accounts to a single card, and credit limits became a barrier for major campaigns like Black Friday. It simply became too much manual work,” says Simon Ekberg. Co-founder Peter Bergdahl adds:
“Invoicing used to be a major issue and it became both a bottleneck and a time thief.. We spent a lot of time manually matching transactions, and we know we’ve missed charging certain costs to clients simply just because we lacked visibility.”
When the founders came across Juni and understood how it worked, it was an easy decision.
“When we realised what Juni could do for us and the problems it could solve for Ampilio, it was a no-brainer,” says Simon.

“Now that we issue cards through Juni, it’s easy to reconcile each card and see exactly what’s been spent. This allows us to invoice the correct amount , it makes a huge difference. We’re no longer losing revenue due to missed invoices, which is a big win.”
Previously, Simon and Peter had to be directly involved in every campaign, as they were the ones holding the physical cards. But with Juni, their teams have taken greater control and work more independently.
“All our project managers and digital marketing specialists have access to Juni and can monitor card activity themselves. They love being able to instantly create a new card whenever we onboard a new client. Everything is easy to follow, and they can enter card details into ad accounts without involving us founders,” says Simon.

So if it ain’t broken, don’t try to fix it. There’s ongoing demand for our services from larger and larger clients, which is fantastic,” Peter concludes.
